How to Create SaaS Operations Layer and add a Compliant ChatGPT Frontend App?
1. Set up an organization on the Findexar platform. Bring or set up your Stripe account and connect it to your Findexar org. If you intend to have external users, create free and paid subscription plans for your users. If you intend to have internal users, create an internal team plan.
2. Set up a "downstream" connector(s). By downstream we mean the backend you want to integrate with—such as a Zapier MCP, Make, or n8n server, or a custom MCP service, such as created with OpenAI Apps SDK. Your MCP servers should support an anonymous user access for limited features with no time-limit usage
3. Set up an "upstream connector" that provides an MCP endpoint that will be used by your ChatGPT app. You can select the tools exposed by connected downstream adapters and assign a price in credits to each.
4. Select a Hybrid Auth model and submit your app to the OpenAI Apps Directory.
That’s it—you’re in business. Your existing users will be able to login from ChatGPT and use the app in-chat. You can also provide a limited-access no-account version that doesn't require a login. Try it today!
